Paint the back and sides of your body with one color and the top of your body with another!
Add a pop of color to your finish by filling the pores/grain of your body with a contrasting colored grain-filler! This only works on bodies that have "open" grain, like Ash, Mahogany, and similar body woods.
Add poly sealer coats to your body to help create a super-smooth base layer for your nitro finish!

We are known for our distressed and aged finishes! Crafted and refined over years of vintage restoration work, our process delivers the most accurate time-worn look and feel, appropriate for your instrument. So, if new and shiny isn't your thing, we can beat some of that "old soul" right into it! *Heritage Finish Only*
Minor surface scratches and dings, with more focus on edge wear. A mild finish patina reflects the natural aging and de-glossing of nitro. Finish checking mimics the natural cracking of the top coat due to changes in weather.
Moderate distressing with a worn-in, well-traveled feel. A modest amount of scratches, dings, and dents, with a few wear spots, finish chipping, and naturally produced finish checking.
Highly-played but not over-done distressing, this aging process produces greater amounts of finish wear, larger areas of finish removal, and more pronounced finish checking, dents, and dings.
Some fees and charges are applicable based on the scope of work or additional requests that require us to take extra steps when refinishing your instrument.
If you have a custom or replacement decal for your neck, we will apply it to your headstock. We do not apply Fender or Gibson decals to non-factory, aftermarket necks.
For a vintage style sunburst on an Alder body, we can bleach/white-wash the wood, like Fender does, to get the correct "vintage" coloring.
If your headstock has an inlaid logo, we will mask it off and scrape back the new finish to create a clean edge around it before clearing the headstock.
If your neck has plastic binding on the fretboard or headstock, we have to protect it during the refinish process and scrape the new finish back to reveal the binding again.
If your body has plastic binding, we have to protect it during the refinish process and scrape the new finish back to reveal the binding again. The price is per side (front / back).
If you have an open-grain wood on your body or neck that needs to be filled to acheive a smooth, uniform, surface finish.
